Alberto Mangione, founder and president of The Trevi Group, began learning about the benefits of superior customer service at a young age. After moving from Sicily to the United States, he began working in his uncle’s Italian restaurant at age twelve. From that point, he performed every job in the restaurant including chef and general manager. While working in the restaurant, he also held dual jobs in retail. Through these experiences, Mr. Mangione definitely acquired his love for working with people and talking to customers. In order to add to his customer service background and supreme culinary knowledge and skill, Mr. Mangione graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina with a business degree in Finance and Marketing while continuing to work full time.
While working for several retail giants and large restaurant concepts, Mr. Mangione realized the importance of properly trained employees who share the same passion and commitment as the owners who hire them and therefore positively impact the image of the corporation. The experience of operating a privately owned business generating less than a million dollars a year to operating businesses generating over five million dollars a year has given Mr. Mangione a unique perspective and sensitivity to each business that he assists. Yet, despite the size of each client, the common denominator for success is providing a great product with consistent and responsive customer service. We believe strongly in this principle for our own company and desire to help our clients with this aspect of their businesses as well.
Over the years of acquiring knowledge and experience, one thing never changed for Mr. Mangione: his incredible love and passion for the hospitality and customer service industry!
